Lovely Guests from Indonesia!! (I Love Indonesia!)

Hello! How was everyone's weekend?!

I'm staff Harriet from Leo Guesthouse Hongdae.

This weekend we had a huge group of guests from Indonesia!!

Yesterday they went to Myeongdong!!

I told them how to get to Myeongdong and

helped them buy public transportation cards:)

They are very friendly and nice.

Even though we don't speak very good English

(and I don't speak Indonesian and they don't speak Korean)

and we had a little difficulty in communication,

we talked in body language and laughed and had a fun time!

Today they went out so early and came back so late,

I didn't had much time to spend with them.

But I made them hot chocolate and talked about my age, university, etc.

I will definitely miss these Indonesian guests, always smiling!!!

Le show Tv : Running man

Diffusé le dimanche soir sur SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System), "Running Man" est un game show tourné en extérieur et présenté comme un divertissement urbain d’action.

Chaque semaine, les joueurs sont confrontés à une succession d’épreuves ludiques, allant de jeux en équipes plus ou moins délirants à des chasses au trésor dans la ville de Séoul. À l’arrivée, les épreuves sont racontées sur 1h30 de programme mettant l’emphase sur le comique des situations.

Le casting permanent de l’émission est composé de sept animateurs menés par un certain Yoo Jae-Suk

Le point culminant du show est la fameuse "race mission" , jeu de cache-cache se déroulant souvent dans un immeuble ou un centre commercial. Les règles ? Elles changent à chaque fois mais il y a des bases à connaître.

La première : protéger à tout moment son "nametag", bandeau de tissu au nom de chaque joueur et attaché dans son dos. Un joueur dont le nametag est arraché se retrouve hors jeu. La seconde : ne se fier à personne ! En effet, certains animateurs sont les rois de la manipulation, quand les invités ne se prennent pas au jeu. La production est aussi susceptible d’avoir glissé des espions.

A la rencontre de 2 français dans notre guesthouse :)

Salut !
Voilà je vous présente 2 invités français qui ont finalement choisies de venir dans notre guesthouse à yeongdeungpo. Ils habitent à Lille qui est au nord de Paris et ont décidés de faire le tour du monde pendant 10 mois !

La Corée du sud est l'un des pays qu'ils ont voulu visiter et c'est la raison pour laquelle ils ont choisies de faire un petit passage chez vous . Ils ont decouvert la guesthouse via internet et ont été donc intéressés :)

Ils étaient en Russie juste avant de débarquer en Corée et ils sont agréablement surpris du pays et de la gentillesse des gens ^^

Gwang-jang Market

Hello everyone! I'm staff Harriet from Leo Guesthouse.

Today is a national holiday in Korea! And it's Saturday:(!!

It's called 'gae-cheon jul' and we celebrate the birthday of Korea!

Today I'm going to share my favorite market in Seoul.

It's Gwang-jang Market!!

By subway : Jongno-5ga (line1) exit 8

09:00 - 23:00

The popular foods in Gwang-jang market are

마약김밥 Drug Kimbap, 빈대떡 Mung-Bean Pancake, and 육회 Raw Beef.

We call this Kimbap, the Drug Kimbap because it's so addictive.

This is Mung-bean pancake.

It's really delicious when you eat right after it's cooked.

And this is raw beef. I've never tried it.

I don't eat raw food...... But everyone except me likes this food!

So you should definitely try!

There are many different street foods in the market

including ddeokbokki and soondae.

You can also drink soju or makgeoli in the market!

When my foreigner friends visit Seoul, I always take them to this market.

They always loved the foods in this market!!

So I'm sure you will enjoy this market also!

October Festival in korea .

Hello guys!! This is Aeri,

Finally Tomorrow will be fireworks in Seoul.

The Fireworks festival near Han-river.

If you stay close to between Wonhyo Bridge and Mapo Bridge, you can watch fantastic fireworks.

But too much crowded everywhere in Seoul, you can check public transportation.

If you want to more detail, look for our blog, I wrote information on fireworks festival few days ago.

Today, I want to share the other festival.

Because, October is travel month in Korea.

All are is full of people everywhere in Korea.

My Favorite Motto is 'YOLO'.

Hello!

This is Aeri , working Leo Guest House Yeongdeungpo branch.

When i was listening to music of Adam Levine.

I listened one song. Title is 'YOLO'

So i just wondering what is mean of YOLO?

YOLO='You Only Live Once'

So many means include YOLO.

''Life is too short to worry about stupid things. Have fun,Fall in love,Regret nothng and Don't let people bring you down.''

''You only live once, but if you do it right once is enough.''

Recently my favorite motto is 'YOLO'.

We enjoy our life and have fun everyday.

So i told couple of my friends.One of friend gave the photo. when she was watching about 'The Simpsons' , she took a capture of one scene.

Everyday i trying to keep the positive mind.

When i wake up in the morning, i remind positive things.

We say YOLO one time everyday.

Maybe, YOLO is bring lucky to you!

Lovely Guests & Fun Time in Leo Guesthouse

Hello :) This is staff Harriet from Leo Guesthouse!

Last week, as you know, it was a big holiday in Korea 'Chu-seok'.

So there were a lot of foreigners in Hongdae!!!

Most of them living in Korea, hanging out in Hongdae to enjoy their holidays.

Leo Guesthouse Hongdae was also full with foreigners!

Gigi from France, living in Canada, is traveling Asia and Oceania for an year.

He stayed a whole week in Leo Guesthouse!

He cooked crepes and spring rolls for other guests and the staffs.

He just went to Japan today and we already miss him!

Friendly Chinese guest! He looks good in Hanbok, right?!

I should study more Chinese!!!!

Guests from Russia, US and Poland!!

Actually they were living in Korea but they came to Hongdae for holidays!

Sato is from Japan!! And those lovely two guys are French!

Sato stayed in Leo Guesthouse for a month.

She was really nice and we had a great time together while she was here!

Two guys from Japan and two beautiful girls from Malaysia!!

They were so friendly and nice, they also shared their language with us!

It was fun learning Malaysian! (bad words..;p)

Hope to see them again and miss them already!!
