Today, i will tell you about large discount supermarkets in Korea.

Large discount supermarkets sell a variety of food and household items at less than the market price.

Major supermarkets like E-MART,LOTTE-MART and HOMEPLUS.

1. E-MART

With the most number of branches, E-mart is especially popular for its food section, particularly for its quality fresh foods and wide range of items. Its own environmentally friendly brand sells hassle free and simply designed goods, which include household items and clothing at very reasonable prices.

2. LOTTE-MART

Food and household items are sold at low prices through Lotte's ''Tongken'' and ''Sonkeun'' brands, and some branches aslso have a Toys ''R'' Us store.

The Seoul Station branch is popular place, tourists for last minutes last shopping,

after which they can take the Airport Railroad to the In-cheon International Airport.

3. HOMEPLUS

The second-largest discount supermarket chain after E-mart, Homeplus offers a wild ranfe of products across every category. At its Wholesale Product Zone, bundled products are sold 5 to 20% cheaper than general prices. Self checkout counters are available at some stores.
